Hello everyone, this is KAI-NING.
Surprised to see me here? No. Because from now on I'll be the one mainly updating the blog. HURHURHUR. I'm very hungry, my maid is cooking battered fish with cream corn thingy, so nice right? But she'll usually screw it, so I will get food pois-- Huh what? I'm going off topic? Okay sorry, sorry.
What we'd, as a class like to do is actually prepare as early as possible for the CNY deco, because our batch, the '5's always win. If you were not from 105 or 205 in the previous years, well, GONG XI NI. Cos this year we will win!
Hopefully none of those creepy 306 people who were from 305 carry on this spirit cos I want our class to win.
So anyway, here is the list of stuff that we'd have to do. Please choose at least one and do it over the weekend.
1. The tiger paw prints
- Please get the tiger paw prints painted, whoever you are, the colour should be golden, you can buy a tube of golden poster paint from Popular at $1.
2. Recycled scrolls
- Try to make a scroll out of that kitchen roll thing. You can take two kitchen rolls and stick red paper in between and make a scroll with auspicious words. I dunno if I spelled auspicious right.
- If need instructions, I can email to you. (all original instructions thought on the spot by ME!)
3. Cans
- Collect cans, preferably red, but any colour will do, preferably red, because red is an auspicious colour.
- If you don't have red cans, then red paper will have to go around it, which defeats the purpose of recycled materials. So, preferably red.
- The cans are going to be tied up in a firecracker fashion.
4. Okay I dunno what to head this as..
- You know, just turn a square paper sideways, so it's a diamond and write a word on it.. A nice word.
- Then uh, hong baos, hong baos please.
Me and Nicole Lee are working on the deco, okay, so, if you have any recycled CNY to bring (pineapple lanterns, then good, can bring, haha.
Oh yeah, I DON'T LIKE THE MUSIC!
